So today, I was looking for the simplest and fastest means I could use to get hooked up with my subscribers, I scoured the internet like someone who was looking for his destiny (lol, like seriously).
Fortunately enough for me, I found what I longed for, I came across a site (getsitecontrol.com) where I was able to fix my problem.
To cut the story short, I'll be teaching you how I signed up and activated the Chat-Us button on my site. The button always has chat symbol.
See picture below;
You see where where arrow is pointed to? That's the button (well its viewed on a PC)
So now let's get started, With the 4 most effective Steps of adding a Chat Us button.
STEPS TO ACTIVATING YOUR CHAT US BUTTON
STEP ONE: You have to visit the site getsitecontrol.com , there you will be asked to sign up for a free account
( Premium accounts are also available)
Anyways free accounts are limited to some features,like integrating your Getsitecontrol with other accounts such as Your Mailchimp account and others, so you might start considering getting a paid account, so as to have access to all features.
STEP TWO : After signing up (you can sign up using your email or better still use your Google account, so that your password will be remembered, that was what I used) you will come upon a page where you will be given a code to copy and paste on your blogger HTML (you can find that on your blogger Layout "Add tool" )
When you have successfully pasted the code to your blogger site, click on the Check Code button seen in the picture above. Your site will be automatically scanned to know if you perfectly pasted the code, if you did, well done.
Now your site will be activated and ready to get into action. The next page you will see, will be your dashboard, where you'll set up your tool, and it will be automatically updated to your site.
STEP THREE :
Now your account is set, and you're on your dashboard, you will have to click on the Create Widget drop down Menu as shown in the picture above. A list of tools will show up, then click on the
Chat Us to set it up.
Yours may not look like mine with Numbers/figures (cuz I've customized my tools, yours will be blank, no tools customized).
When you click on it, you will see something like this (See picture below)
NB : if you're using a free account, you don't have to bother yourself clicking "Targeting and Integrations, Its for people with Premium accounts.
You can set it up over PC view or Mobile view (see picture below)
See the that part I circled? That's the MOBILE view, while the other is PC view. Choose to set it up on any view of your choice
STEP FOUR : When you're done setting it up, click the OK button. You will be taken to your dashboard.
You'll see a pop-up kind of message, with this content " Activate " click Activate to finally fully activate the Chat Us button.
Now you can be rocking your Chat Us button !!
